This is a miniature version of the paper lanterns used to adorn the O-daiko (big drum) cart on the Kodo stage, made by the very same artisans. You can use it as is for interior decor, or insert an LED candle to use it as a lantern.
It comes in a box with a traditional label, perfect for gifting.
