These bachi (drumsticks) are recommended by Kodo Taiko School.
They have a moderate weight, which is suitable for playing okedo-daiko (barrel drums) as well as other similiar sized or larger drums such as nagado-daiko (miya-daiko/chudaiko).
Made from sturdy maple, they make a great sound when you hit the rim of the drum, too.
These bachi are tapered for ease of use.
Each pair comes with a special bonus: The Kodo ensemble’s tried-and-true instructions for making a bachi bag to attach to your okedo-daiko upright stand.
